Intestinal Worms and Parasites. How do I win the battle against these health wrecking internal monsters?

How bad for your health are Parasitic and Worm Infestations?

Ewww. Gut worms. Intestinal creep crawlies out of an Alien movie, living inside you. It’s just NOT what you want to think about, is it? But, the chances are VERY good that you either have had them, do have them, or will have them.

Parasitic infections are responsible for millions of deaths worldwide every year. Malaria is one of the most well-known, killing about 1 million people a year, many of them young children in sub-Saharan Africa. Further, the neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), which include parasitic diseases like lymphatic filariasis, onchocerciasis and Guinea worm, kill about 500,000 people each year, primarily in rural areas of low-income countries.

Even in developed countries, however, parasites can contribute to disease like irritable bowel syndrome and other digestive issues, and possibly even cancer. It is estimated that some 3/4 of the population carries some form of antagonistic parasite or worm infection with them and many, though highly symptomatic, are not even aware of the infestation. These creatures can absolutely WRECK your health and make you miserable over a long period of time.

Not freaked out yet? You should be. Really. Here are some symptoms caused by parasites according to the World Health Organization (WHO):

STOMACH & INTESTINAL COMPLICATIONS– The sheer number of parasites in the lower digestive system and the toxic waste produced by them can cause these problems:

  • Diarrhea, Chronic
  • Constipation, Gas & Bloating
  • Digestive Problems
  • Excessive Early Bowel Movements (very explosive bowel movements very soon after eating)
  • Abdominal Pain
  • Mucus in the Stools
  • Leaky Gut
  • Nausea
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Burning in the Stomach
  • Acid Reflux (GERD)
  • Bloody Stools

FATIGUE - The toxic metabolic waste overloads and overworks the organs of elimination and taxes the central nervous system causing:

  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
  • Low Energy
  • Lethargy
  • Excessive Weakness & fatigue.

SKIN DISORDERS & ALLERGIES– Parasites that penetrate the skin cause itching. When tissue becomes inflamed from these parasites, the body’s white blood cells increase to defend the body. This reaction causes skin rashes and food allergies to appear. Parasites also create toxins and the skin, being the largest organ, tries to remove these toxins which causes many skin problems.  including:

  • Dry Skin Dry Hair
  • Brittle Hair
  • Hair Loss
  • Allergies
  • Itchy Nose
  • Itchy Anus
  • Itchy Skin
  • Hives
  • Allergic Reactions to Food
  • Crawling Sensation Under the Skin
  • Rashes
  • Weeping Eczema
  • Cutaneous Ulcers
  • Papular Lesions
  • Swelling Sores

MOOD & ANXIETY PROBLEMS– Once again, it’s the toxic metabolic waste produced by the parasites that attack the central nervous system causing:

  • Mood Swings
  • Nervousness
  • Depression
  • Forgetfulness
  • Unclear thinking or brain fog
  • Restlessness
  • Anxiety
  • Slow Reflexes

SLEEP DISTURBANCES – The physical presence of the parasites themselves are a nuisance to the human body. The body reacts to them during periods of rest, this in turn produces:

  • Insomnia
  • Teeth Grinding During Sleep
  • Bed Wetting
  • Drooling While Asleep
  • Disturbed Sleep – Multiple Awakenings during the night

WEIGHT & APPETITE PROBLEMS– Parasites live undetected by their hosts. They rob the body of all essential nutrients (they get the choicest nutrition from the food you eat) and you are left with the fats, sugars, etc. Many overweight persons are infested with parasites, they stay hungry which leads to overeating. Depending on the type of parasite infestation, many people are malnourished and they can’t gain weight. Parasitic infestation can cause:

  • Weight Gain
  • Long-Standing Obesity
  • Loss of Appetite OR Uncontrollable Hunger (Eating more than normal BUT still feeling hungry)
  • Inability to gain or lose weight.

MUSCLE & JOINT COMPLAINTS– Parasites can travel to almost all soft tissue including in the joints and muscles where they cause cysts and inflammation that is commonly mistaken as arthritis and muscle pain. The toxins from parasites can also pool in the joints and in muscle tissue causing:

  • Muscle & Joint Pain
  • Muscle Cramping
  • Numbness of the Hands and/or Feet
  • Heart Pain, Pain in The Navel
  • Pain in the Back
  • Thighs or Shoulders
  • Arthritic Pains
  • Fast Heartbeat

BLOOD DISORDERS – The parasites get all the good vitamins, including iron, leading to Hypoglycemia, Anemia.

SEXUAL & REPRODUCTIVE PROBLEMS– With a weakened immune system caused by parasitic toxins & waste, you also can also experience:

  • Male Impotence
  • Erectile Dysfunction
  • PMS
  • Candida – Yeast Infections
  • Urinary Tract Infections
  • Cysts & Fibroids
  • Menstrual Problems
  • Prostate Problems
  • Water Retention

OTHER SYMPTOMS– More health problems caused by parasites:

  • Excessive Saliva
  • Unclear Vision
  • Bad Breath
  • Poor Immune Response
  • Fever
  • Respiratory Problems
  • Peritonitis
  • Chronic Viral or Bacterial Symptoms
  • Body Odor

This is a VERY long list but you need to seriously consider the possibility of having an infestation if you are dealing with chronic LONG TERM health issues that have not responded to other treatments or interventions.

The very first thing we advise people to do when they come to us for a consult here at CLOUD FOREST BOTANICALS is to do a gut cleanse. That includes a colon cleanse and an anti-parasite program. Reliable colon cleanses can be simple and inexpensive.

Note:  Sometimes the infestation overgrowth is so advanced that a person will have to initiate healing by taking a round or two of prescription anti-parasitic medication. But it’s important to remember that this is NOT a cure, as the parasites develop resistance to repeat treatments. So only resort to this as a one or two time initial response to parasite infestation. After that, restoring and maintaining good gut health is the key

It is also important to remember that stool samples examined in laboratories miss more than 50% of active parasite cultures. Don’t ask us why–but that’s what the doctors say!

Here are some more tips to help eliminate the parasite or worm infestation:

1. Do the strongest anti-parasite herb formula you can – these include Wormwood ( Artemesia), Guaco, Anamu, Tumeric, Garlic, and black walnut hull.

2. Take a course of Diatomaceous earth – 60-90 days

3. Don’t eat stuff that feeds the parasites – sugar, grains, alcohol and red meats.
4. Wash all produce ( even organic) – use a rinse of hydrogen peroxide or colloidial silver as added precaution

5. Wash your hands frequently and don’t touch your mouth.

6. De-worm your pets frequently!

7. Put cayenne, ginger and RAW garlic in as much food as you can.

8. Drink water with lemon through the day. NO SODAS!

9. Eat pro-biotic foods to re-introduce and encourage good gut flora. Do a google search for lacto-fermented foods and learn how to make your own highly potent pro-biotic foods.
